As part of his 2025 European Tour, Venerable Bhante Sujatha will return to Switzerland for a special workshop on “How to be Happy”.
Many in our community have already had the joy of meeting Bhante during his previous visits and were touched by his wisdom, warmth, and humor.

This is a donation-based event supporting Bhante’s humanitarian initiative, Love in Action. Bhante refers to charitable and humanitarian work as “Love in Action.”

In Switzerland, the typical value of a 90-minute workshop ranges between CHF 60–100.

About Bhante Sujatha:
Venerable Bhante Sujatha, a Buddhist monk for over 30 years, is devoted to one mission: adding more love to the world. He travels internationally teaching Loving-Kindness meditation to people seeking greater peace, happiness, and emotional well-being.
Bhante’s style is joyful, vibrant, and down-to-earth. He brings ancient Buddhist wisdom to modern life in a simple, practical, and deeply moving way.
Originally from Sri Lanka, he is the head monk and abbot of the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple and Meditation Center in Woodstock, Illinois (USA). All proceeds from his teachings support Love in Action, his humanitarian projects in Sri Lanka — primarily helping underserved pregnant women and children.
Bhante often says that his purpose is not only to teach meditation, but also to “teach people how to be happy.”

Urban Mindfulness Meditation Zurich is a community based project started in 2011 that aims to bring more awareness to the benefits of meditative practices for mental and physical health.
Urban Mindfulness Meditation Zurich offers weekly drop in mindfulness meditation classes and a variety of workshops, courses and retreats designed to help you manage stress and to increase your health and well-being.
All courses are grounded in brain science, positive psychology and contemplative training and teach meditation in a secular, non-religious manner.
